New Jaltest JDC217M3 “High-speed” 9-pin cable

Jaltest announces the release of a new High-Speed “Type 2” 9-Pin cable for J1939 @500 kbps communications (also known as 9-pin “GREEN” connector). This new cable will allow technicians to connect to HD vehicles and buses that meet the new GHG17 (Green House Gases) regulation.

This cable has two main features:

• It adds the possibility to communicate with heavy duty vehicles at different SAE 1939 baud rates. New communication protocols allow system manufacturers to increase the data bus speed by the different Electronic Control Modules (ECMs) increasing the amount of information and diagnostic modules.
• It features backward compatibility with the previous 9-pin “Type 1” diagnostic connector, so users will be able to connect to any vehicle with a 9-pin “GREEN” or “BLACK” connector.
