The AHI module’s purpose is to dose and control the amount of fuel used by the 7th injector during the DPF regeneration. In Volvo and Mack engines with SCR technology, the AFI (After treatment Fuel Injector) reset is needed when fault code P24F7 FMI 0 (Aftertreatment fuel drain valve. Stuck closed) is logged.
