Cojali launches ECM Diagnostics and repair lab in the USA | Cojali Reman
7 de ago. de 2025
After more than 15 years of successfully diagnosing and repairing electronic control modules (ECMs) in Europe, Cojali is proud to announce the launch of its own ECM Diagnostics and Repair Lab in the United States. This strategic expansion brings expert ECM services directly to the American heavy-duty and off-highway market.
This new service also aligns naturally with the Jaltest ecosystem, complementing the tools and technical support that many shops, fleets, and technicians in North America already rely on.
Why ECM Diagnosis and Repair Matters
Electronic Control Modules are the brains of today’s trucks and machinery. When they fail, operations come to a halt leading to costly downtime and operational disruption. Advanced diagnostics sometimes lead to one unavoidable conclusion: the ECM needs attention. When it’s not just a matter of recalibrating or clearing codes, there are two common paths to get back up and running:
• Diagnosis and Repair: A cost-effective and resource-efficient route where the original ECM is analyzed, repaired, and reconditioned.
• Replacement: If time is critical, requesting a refurbished replacement unit from Cojali allows for the fastest possible turnaround.
Note: Cojali does not provide new OEM ECMs. We specialize in refurbished replacements, in-house diagnostics, and repairs.
Common Symptoms of a Faulty ECM
If you’re seeing any of the following issues, especially during or after diagnostics, there’s a strong chance the ECM may be at fault and in need of inspection:
• Engine no crank / no start
• No communication with the module
• Injector-related faults
• Persistent or stored fault codes
• Intermittent electrical issues
• Blown fuses
• Oil intrusion or contamination
These are typical signs that an ECM may require repair or replacement. Whether identified through Jaltest Diagnostics or noticed during regular operation, our ECM Lab is equipped to handle these cases efficiently.
Common ECM Units We Service
