JALTEST ESB. REPAIR IN AN INDEPENDENT WAY

This objective, together with its wide expertise and successful repair service, Cojali Reman, and with the final client’s search for more sustainable and efficient alternatives, have motivated Cojali to develop Jaltest ESB and take it to market. This multi-brand ECU Simulation Bench has been developed to diagnose, test and repair electronic control units for commercial vehicles.

This bench, which includes specific documentation to repair failures in ECUs of commercial vehicles, agricultural equipment and OHW equipment, diagnoses the unit, provides the corresponding step-by-step guide, indicates the reference of the components to be replaced and simulates all input signals, as well as the reading of output signals for a final check to verify their correct operation.

Thus, Jaltest ESB offers the opportunity to create a new business line, giving them the chance to repair in an independent way without turning to third parties.

This alternative entails great added value, considering that the electronic component shortage problems have contributed to increase the demands for repairs, and that it is a faster, more economical and respectful solution to the environment than the acquisition a new ECU.

Jaltest ESB coverage is linked to the wide coverage available with Jaltest Diagnostics, the multi-brand diagnostics tool of Cojali. Therefore, the Jaltest ESB coverage is constantly updated and can currently provide support for the most frequent failures in more than 3,000 ECU references of the main brands of commercial vehicles, agricultural equipment and OHW equipment.

The examples of failures that can be solved with Jaltest ESB include injection failures in the engine system, light activation or deactivation failures, problems with indication needles and screens on the instrument clusters or CAN communication failures between different ECUs, among others.

Jaltest ESB includes the simulation bench, 100 hours of technical assistance and 160 hours of training with the purpose of offering top technical specialisation and any necessary support during the first year.
